Who We Are
Bringing New York Theatre to
The Resident Theatre Company or RTC, is a professional company that will produce musicals and plays using a blend of local, Philly and NY actors and designers, and Children’s Theatre with adult casts that will perform at the theatre as well as at local schools as part of our outreach program. But The Company will not just produce shows, it will work to create a thriving, inclusive creative community in West Chester where people can discover theatre, interact with the artists, find people with common interests, and feel like they are part of the community. We feel this is so important at a time when people are feeling disconnected, isolated from their community, and trapped in their routine.

What People are saying about Kristin's work:
“‘Lend Me a Tenor’ achieves true comic delirium only at the curtain call [directed by Kristin McLaughlin], when the cast cycles through a mimed version of the lunatic plot in about two minutes. Those two minutes are more charming, and fundamentally funnier, than the two and a half hours of hard labor that have come before.”
“Indeed, this production of Spamalot, directed by Kristin McLaughlin, is a near-perfect piece of theater…a confectionery delight for audience members.”
"Kristin Mitchell is one of the most professional and creative people I've ever had the opportunity to work with. She enhances every production she is a part of. "
